Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 18th September - 21 seen

Yearling 248 was grazing around ///pimples.dancer.primed at 09:35 this morning.  Youngsters 220, 221, 222 and 228 were snoffling for acorns in the trees opposite.

Older cows 35, 72 and 940 plus youngsters 219, 226 and 230 plus yearling 245 were all grazing in the area around ///pure.calculate.behalf at 10:05.  The others were spread out in a large circle around this area in dense thicket surrounded by thick mud and other swampy ground making it challenging to get to them.  They were also in groups of one or two.  Cows 21, 213, 217, 238, 241, 242, 244, 247 and 257 were all found grazing or eating leaves at some point over the next ninety minutes within this area.

Despite an extensive search of the rest of the site, I couldn't find cows 20, 30, 33 or 235 today.

All the cows that were seen were good.
