Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

Call the office on 01256 381190.
If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

Saturday 3rd September - All 25 seen

Yearlings 238, 241, 245, 247, 248 and 257 were seen in the trees beside Camp 45 around ///political.slide.appraised at 09:45 this morning. Older cow 21 was munching on leaves from the trees on the other side of the path.

Nine of the youngsters plus yearlings 242 and 244 were busy grazing in the area around ///anyone.robot.fussy a short while later. Older cow 21 wandered up and joined them. Yearling 242's shoulder seemed ok with no particular interest from the flies today.

Older cows 33, 35, 72 and 940 plus youngster 235 were grazing in the area around ///feasted.outsize.awoken. The final two older cows 20 and 30 were together, happily grazing the area around ///fists.earphones.outs.

All the cows were good this morning.
