Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 2nd October - 20 seem

Youngsters 220 and 230 were grazing on the slope around ///reclusive.grows.ventures at 12:30 this afternoon.  They were both rather damp.

Cows 20, 30, 35, 213, 219, 241, 247, 248 and 940 were all grazing a bit further around at ///warp.anyone.nightcap.  They were joined by cows 21, 72, 226 and 235 about 30 minutes later, who all came wandering along the Caesar's fence line.  Cows 226 and 235 were particularly vocal, but were both fine.  The cows all started to lie down at the side of the trees.

I ran into cows 220 and 230 again around ///losing.mats.goofy at 13:30 where they were grazing in the thicket with yearling 238.

Cows 33, 217, 221 and 242 were all found at ///robe.weaned.galloped at 14:00.  They were all lying down, relaxing and chewing their cud.

Despite searching for another 90 minutes, I couldn't find the other five - cows 222, 228, 244, 245 and 257.  That's two days in a row that four of them have evaded me!

All the cows that were found were good this afternoon.
