Twenty-one cows were all happily grazing in the warm sunshine at 10:15 this morning. They were all down at the Bourley Road end of the site, grazing on both sides of the centre ditch. They were all enjoying lots of grass.
Youngsters 217, 220, 222 and 230 plus yearling 270 were munching on leaves from the bramble in the centre of the site. Steer 217 met up with steer 227, and they had a big drink of water from a large puddle.
The cows were all happy and looking well. They slowly made their way southwest, back towards the wooded corner. Steer 227 was his usual friendly self and was happy to stand in the sun and receive an ear rub and then a back scratch before wandering off.
The cows were all good today.
