Friday 5th August. All seen

 Trough full, butt a little over half left. Along with lots of flies the beast were making their way around the periphery of the field in an anti-clock wise direction. They seemed fined keeping to the shade, grazing and some of the younger ones jostling each other. We did a bit of litter picking having seen 220 tasting, not chewing, a bread wrapper. Thursday 4th August. All seen, bowser nearly empty.

 They were all under the trees at the far end, most of them lying down. Although covered in flies, they didn’t seem unduly bothered.

Water trough full but bowser virtually empty as far as I could tell.

Wednesday 3rd August - All 25 seen

All twenty-five cows were lying down, relaxing in the area around ///pint.shrimps.grasp at 17:35 this evening.  Most were chewing their cud, but a few were having a little snooze.  There was a huge number of flies on their faces again today.  Poor cow 219 seems to be more affected than the others, with flies also accumulating on his "shoulders".  

Just after 18:05, they all slowly, one by one started to get up, have a stretch and go off grazing.

The trough was just over a third full and was slowly filling.  The bowser is down to about half full.

The cows were all good this evening.

Tuesday 2nd August - All 25 seen

The cows were nice and relaxed and settling into their new home tonight, following their earlier move from Caesar's to Camp 45.

Seven of the yearlings were having a drink from the water trough at 19:20.  They then went grazing in the grass alongside.

Older cows 20 and 33 were lying down, relaxing and chewing their cud in the area around ///done.basically.narrow.  The other sixteen were all happily grazing in the surrounding area.

All the cows were good tonight.

25 cows returned to Caesars Camp

No cattle on Gelvert at present.
