Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Fri 12th Nov

     It would of been soooo nice to know the cows were being move today, would of saved us a long walk around Gelvert for no reason.

    All cows moved across to ceasers, all looking happy and Healthy.

    Thursday 11th November - 9 seen

    Older cow 35 plus youngsters 213 and 235 were seen grazing deep in the trees around ///suggested.waddled.forkful at 15:25 this afternoon.

    The other six older cattle were seen grazing around ///octagon.cheered.bogus at 16:15.

    They were all fine.

    There was no sight nor sound of the other eight youngsters despite a good walk around.

    0900 Wed 10th Nov 12 seen

     We found 12, 030, 033, 035, 217, 219, 220, 221, 222, 230, 072, 940 and another youngster, around approx ///ruffle.screening.misted. and ///smooth.dynamics.cools. They looked well, grazing in strange places though. The army and fishermen are also out. Stay Safe, Marina & Des

    Saturday 6th November - All 17 seen

    The seven older cattle plus youngsters 217, 220, 226, 228, and 230 were all seen grazing in the area around ///circle.giraffes.mainly at 14:20 this afternoon.  They were all good.

    The other five youngsters 213, 219, 221, 222, and 235 were grazing in the trees around ///tinsel.runs.fallback at 15:15.  They were all good too.

    Tuesday 2nd November, full house!

     After two days of searching... I found one main group by the fishing ponds, 13 animals. 

    The final 4 evaded me and after popping back today I've found them. On the top fenceline along the caesars track. diets.ticking.pointed

    0900 Mon 1st Nov. 14 seen

     We could not miss the 10 in the triangle Bourley Road, Ceasers and Gelvert, just where we last saw them on Friday. What they find so attractive about that area we do not know but we have seen them there quite a few times.  Four from the gang of 7 were seen by the fishing lake grazing and drinking.
